I worked on—and helped manage—an embedded agency creative team inside Airbnb. We worked part-time at the agency, part-time at Airbnb HQ, and across all of Airbnb's product marketing projects.

Part of the role was to help structure the PMM discipline at Airbnb, creating internal materials to help the company understand and work with the new branch. The other part was working with PMMs across every part of the business on a huge variety of projects. In total, we created hundreds of assets, working directly with our clients—without the shield of agency account or project management.

We partnered with professors from Harvard and Lawrence Universities, as well as a cross-functional internal team, to develop a video-based toolkit to help combat discrimination on the platform.

Instant Book Content Strategy

We worked with Airbnb researchers to develop a content plan, messaging framework, copy and creative assets for Instant Book.

Global Ad Campaign

We developed a multi-touch campaign featuring over 250 display ads, emails, social ads, and landing pages that drove first-time nights for the winter season.

Friendly Buildings Program

We worked with Airbnb’s Multifamily Housing, Comms, and Legal teams to write, design and develop microsites that give building owners, HOA members, and tenants the resources they need to implement home sharing to their communities.

We wrote, designed, and developed a landing page promoting Airbnb’s partnership with Amex to rent listings using Membership Rewards points. Our developer created a pricing scraper to allow for accurate, dynamic pricing of the listings featured on the page.

We were brought in three hours before the deadline to concept, write, and design flash and static banner ads to help Airbnb solidify a partnership with HBO.
